Exclusive Company Presentations during the Lunch Breaks

Cognex engineering center (www.cognex.com) and JENETRIC GmbH (www.jenetric.com) offer exclusive company presentations and product demonstrations at the conference venue in the Moritz-von-Rohr-Straße 1a. There will be two guided tours during the lunch breaks of the collaboration conference. These tours include presentations about fast and precise 3D - Vision sensors for automatic quality control by Dr. Martin Schaffer and a presentation about new ways of capturing biometrics by Dirk Morgeneier.

The Cognex engineering center based in Jena develops innovative sensor concepts for 3D measurements. The technology is based on sequential statistical pattern projection, developed by the physicists Dr. Martin Schaffer and Dr. Marcus Große. It enables yet unachieved short measurement times without loss of precision. The technology allows new approaches for complex and time-critical surface inspection tasks and related applications.

The JENETRIC GmbH was founded 2014 by Dirk Morgeneier and Roberto Wolfer. JENETRIC combines a multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers with specialists in manufacturing and selling biometric systems. The JENETRIC engineers are experts in image sensor technology who have successfully developed and manufactured first-in-class products for capturing biometrics. Based on long term experiences they are pushing the envelope for developing new biometric sensors that meet the highest demands for image quality, capture speed and ease of use.
