Spectronet is supporting Holz-21-regio at the next specialist workshop on mechanical engineering

Updated: Oct 15

The WIR! alliance Holz-21-regio invites you to a workshop for project ideas on the topics of automation and mechanical engineering

Holz-21-regio pursues a strategic vision that aims to network the strong Thuringian sectors of forestry and wood industry, digitalization and sensor technology as well as mechanical engineering.

The aim is to carry out innovative research projects in close collaboration that establish the region as a European pioneer region for the bioeconomy and focus on the regional, renewable raw material wood. Spectronet recognizes the need to expand the WIR! Alliance Holz-21-regio to include members and research projects from the areas of mechanical engineering and automation in order to work together on the transformation processes.

For this purpose, a specialist workshop will be held to address potential Thuringian participants from the areas of “automation and mechanical engineering”. The expertise of the local companies will result in ideas for research projects on the topics of innovative use of lignin and the serial production of wooden building elements.
